Me, too! I had to sand it down to make it rounder and clean the deeper grooves the plane couldn't reach, mainly because I couldn't find my spokeshave :(, but you can still see some of the slightly flatter spots in the finished product. That's ok.
Just got through showing it off to the builders -- that was fun!
