FSF launches campaign against Microsoft Vista
Boston, MA -- December 15, 2006 -- The Free Software Foundation (FSF) today launched BadVista.org, a campaign with a twofold mission of exposing the harms inflicted on computer users by the new Microsoft Windows Vista and promoting free software alternatives that respect users' security and privacy rights.

Though I may go to Apple OSX with a windows interface. Same features as Vista somewhat better company. And Gates still won't see much if any money from me.
And boy do I want all my software companies to move to another os. *sigh*

Date: 2006-12-16 11:07 pm (UTC)Neither Linux nor OSX has a "windows interface", but the KDE desktop on Linux is considered sufficiently Windows-like to fool some people. OSX is far enough away from both to be highly annoying to some people (like me). On the other hand, OSX will run Windows under the (third-party, $99) virtual machine environment Parallels.
